My Easy Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan is crunchy and creamy at the same time. Perfect for a weeknight supper or family gathering.
Ingredients

beaten

1/2
cup
Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

1/2
cup
Panko breadcrumbs
▢
1/2
cup
Parmesan cheese
grated
▢
1/2
tsp
black pepper
▢
1/2
tsp
salt
▢

Tbsp
flour
▢
4
boneless skinless chicken breast
halved into 8 thin cutlets
▢
1
cup
pasta sauce
▢
2
cups
mozzarella cheese
shredded
▢
2
tbsp
fresh basil
optional
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees.
In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, Panko, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt.
In a separate shallow bowl, add the egg mixture.
In another shallow bowl, add flour.
Gently dredge each chicken cutlet into flour mixture and shake off excess.
Dip the chicken cutlet into the egg mixture and shake off excess.
Coat the chicken cutlet with the breadcrumb mixture and gently press the breadcrumbs into each chicken cutlet.
Place the chicken in a single layer on greased tray (cover with cooking spray) in air fryer basket.
Cook until a thermometer inserted reads 165 degrees or about 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time.
Top each cutlet with equal portions of the pasta sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Cook until cheese is melted for about 3 minutes longer.
Top with optional basil and additional Parmesan cheese and serve with hot pasta.
