We’re excited to be part of the Cincinnati Magazine Home Show 2025 in Triple Crown–Daron and I are thrilled to officially share that we’re building our very first showcase home for the Cincinnati Magazine Home Show 2025 in Triple Crown.
This project has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of our marriage. Preparing to open the doors for the Cincinnati Magazine Home Show 2025 has been both exciting and fun—we’ve loved seeing people walk through and experience a home we poured our hearts into.
Building Together: Our Journey as Custom Home Builders in Northern Kentucky
What has made it even more special is the way we’ve worked together. After eight years of marriage, we’ve learned how to stay in our gifts and lanes. This showcase home was actually Daron’s idea, and I’m so thankful he encouraged us to step into it. He led the way with the building and construction, while I poured my creativity into the design, décor, and finishing touches. It felt like the best kind of partnership—his strengths balancing mine, and both of us bringing our vision to life.
From excavation and pouring the foundation to framing the walls and selecting every light fixture and tile, the process has been nothing short of incredible. Working side by side has only strengthened our communication and reminded us how much fun it can be to dream and build together. We are proud of what we’ve created—not just a house, but a reflection of teamwork, joy, and legacy.
Honored as Cincinnati’s Exclusive Southern Living Custom Builders
This year, we were also honored to be named the exclusive Southern Living Custom Builder Program members for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. This designation gives us access to Southern Living’s iconic home plans. It also allows us to bring the heart of Southern Living design into our projects. We carried that vision into this home, blending timeless style with modern comforts.
To help bring it all to life, we partnered with some of the top industry brands. These brands include Clopay Garage Doors, GE Monogram Appliances, and Sherwin-Williams Paint. Their products are woven throughout the home and add so much to the finished design. I’ll be sharing more about each of these partners and the design process in the coming weeks.
Why Triple Crown Is the Perfect Setting for the Cincinnati Magazine Home Show 2025
The home is located in Triple Crown, one of Northern Kentucky’s most beautiful and prestigious communities. Our house sits on Affirmed Street, the final street of the development, which makes it even more special. With its golf course, family-friendly setting, and stunning homes, Triple Crown is the perfect backdrop for the first-ever Cincinnati Magazine Home Show.
Cincinnati Magazine Home Show 2025: Builders and Community
Five local builders are featured this year: Cutter Homes, Gustin Construction, Our Farmer House, Fisher, and Drees. It’s been such a joy getting to know the other builders and working with the Cincinnati Magazine team. Everyone has gone above and beyond to make this event special and inspiring for the NKY and Cincinnati community.
VIP Preview Party and Cincinnati Magazine Home Show 2025 Dates
The VIP Preview Party will be held on Thursday, September 25th with live music, food, drinks, and a first look at all five homes. (And yes, there’s even a chance Darron might sing that night!) Tickets are going fast, so be sure to grab yours early.
Public tours will run on these dates:

This is a family-friendly event, with activities for kids, and a perfect chance to see the latest design trends, explore custom home inspiration, and connect with local builders in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.
