Yes! Absolutely. I prefer to use store-bought eggnog in this recipe. It saves time and creates excellent consistency when preparing the eggnog dessert dip. However, you can also make this recipe with homemade eggnog. I have also done this and have a great homemade eggnog recipe that you can try out.

Coffee (highly recommended), light brown sugar, chocolate syrup, maple syrup.  You can also add additional spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin spice, cloves, and rum extract if not using rum.
